Clio Peppiatt launched her eponymous London-based womenswear label in 2015 having gathered experience working with Alexander McQueen, Cassette Playa and Matthew Williamson.
Considered a cult label, celebrity brand fans include Lady Gaga, Kylie Jenner, Adwoa Aboah and Lena Dunham who wore a custom made outfit on the cover of Paper Magazine. In 2015 Clio Peppiatt was commissioned to create the tour wardrobe for Charli XCX and more recently, Jorja Smith and Miley Cyrus have both worn full Clio Peppiatt attire during shows. Previous collections have been featured in major fashion and lifestyle publications such as Elle, I-D, Love Magazine and WWD and the brand received a feature interview in British Vogue in November 2018.
Her collections are instantly identifiable through their intricate embellishments and embroideries, hand drawn prints and an underlying tongue-in-cheek sense of humour. Creative themes vary from ancient greeks, astrology and mythology to alien showgirls of Las Vegas. Most recently, the brand has launched exquisite hand-beaded dresses which have been worn by Paris Hilton, Jorja Smith and Carine Roitfeld.
Clio Peppiatt explores themes of modern day femininity in her work, with the aim of creating unique and positive clothes to make women feel happy, bold and fearless.
